Having eye bags is never good news for anyone. Eye bags can make you look tired, haggard, and sometimes can even make you look sick.
We get eye bags for numerous reasons: lack of sleep, crying, drinking too much alcohol, having sinusitis, and having allergic reactions.

Spoon – Yes, spoons are very effective in removing eye bags and even dark circles around the eyes. First, you have to prepare around six metal spoons and place them in your freezer for about 15 minutes. Then, take one spoon and place the rounded portion over your eye until the spoon becomes warm. As soon as the spoon becomes warm, replace it with another spoon you have prepared.
Cucumber – The use of cucumber to make your eyes look rested and fresh has been known worldwide for years now and for a good reason—because cucumber works wonders! Cucumbers contain anti inflammatory ingredients that help relax the eyes and tighten skin around the eye area. Simply refrigerate cucumbers and cut them into thick slices once they cool. Place them over your eyes; you may also cover them with cloth once they are over your eyes to help maintain its temperature. Then leave it there for about 25 minutes to let the cucumbers totally soothe your eyes.
Potato – Just like cucumbers, potatoes have special components that help soother tired, puffy eyes. Thoroughly wash, peel, and dry a potato then slice it. Moisten your eye area with clean water then place the sliced potato over your eyes for 15 minutes. Alternatively, you can also opt to grate the potatoes instead. Once the potato was grated, place it inside a clean cloth and tie it up. Place the cloth over your eyes and repeat as necessary.
Used Tea Bags –Tea bags contain anti irritant elements that also help get rid of eye bags. Just let the tea bags cool down in a refrigerator after you’ve used it (or after soaking it in warm water), then place them over your eyes for 15 minutes.
Of course, these are just temporary remedies to help you remove eye bags. Still, nothing beats treating your body the right way for your eyes to not appear tired as your body is. Get enough sleep and rest, maintain a healthy diet, and don’t forget to drink lots of water for your system to be able to eliminate toxins, too.
